Therefore, if one applies this concept he can realize that the whole history narrative is artificially constructed for the purpose of alienating and exploitation of the individual - Orwell was concerned that humans while disconnected from the pasts were easily manipulated by totalitarian states. In as much as one can observe the impacts of the past in the present for historical events, one can realize the potential to attain to his own unleashes a virtuous self-discovery lead by a greater self-consciousness . Therefore, I refute the idea that learning about the past is worthless for us living in the present time.
